Abstract

ABSTRAK Afriani (2021). NIM: 17010109014. Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Dan Hasil Belajar Pada Konsep Cahaya Dan Alat Optik Di SMP Negeri 21 Poleang Tenggara Kabupaten Bombana Dibimbing oleh: La Isa, M,Si,.M,Sc.) Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK) yang telah dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 21 Poleang tenggara berjumlah 15 orang yang terdaftar pada semester genap pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Instrument penelitian terdiri atas lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dan aktivitas guru serta tes hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan. Data penelitian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata aspek keterampilan proses sains pada siklus I yaitu 51,73 berada pada predikat cukup, sedangkan untuknilai rata-rata hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan peserta didik yaitu 63,94. Untuk ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal peserta didik pada siklus yaitu dngan presentase keberhasilan tindakan yaitu sebesar 33,33%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata aspek keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yaitu 80,41 berada pada predikat baik. Untuk nilai rata-rata hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan peserta didik siklus II diperoleh 78,24. Padasiklus II ketuntasan belajar sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA pada Konsep Cahaya da Alat Optik yang diajar menggunakan model discovery learning mengalami peningkatan pada ketermpilan proses sains,hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan, serta ketuntasan hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Poleang Tenggara dari siklus I kesiklus II. Application of the Discovery Learning Model to Improve Science Process Skills and Learning Outcomes on the Concept of Light and Optical Instruments at SMP Negeri 21 Poleang Tenggara, Bombana Regency Supervised by: La Isa, M,Si,.M,Sc.). This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which has been carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 21 Poleang Tenggara totaling 15 people who were registered in the even semesters of the 2020/2021 school year. The research instrument consisted of an observation sheet for students' science process skills and teacher activities as well as a test of learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge. The research data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. From the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the average aspect of science process skills in the first cycle was 51.73 which was in the predicate enough, while the average value of learning outcomes in the realm of students' knowledge was 63.94. For completeness of learning outcomes classically, students in the cycle are with the percentage of success of the action that is equal to 33.33%. In the second cycle, the average value of the aspects of the science process skills of students, which is 80.41, is in the good predicate. For the average value of learning outcomes in the knowledge domain of students in cycle II, it was obtained 78.24. In the second cycle, the learning completeness is 80%. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that science learning on the Concept of Light and Optical Instruments taught using the discovery learning model has increased in science process skills, learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge, and mastery of learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 21 Poleang Tenggara from cycle I to cycle II.
