ABSTRACT Gita Rahmayanti. SID. 18010106056. Students’ Experience of Memrise Application Use in Learning Vocabulary. Supervised by: Azwar Abidin M.Pd and Sarjaniah Zur S.Pd.,M.Pd _________________________________________________________________ This study aims to investigate students’ experience of Memrise Application use in learning vocabulary at one of the institutes in Kendari. The data were taken from 20 students in the first semester with different disciplines. This study revealed that the Memrise app helps students to learn English vocabulary in a fun and easy way to understand. The activities of the Memrise app are supported and motivate students to learn English. In terms of novelty, this app is still known specifically because most students do not have experience using other applications. Meanwhile, terms of the efficiency of this app are still contradictory because no one has stated strongly the reasons for the lack of efficiency of this application. However, the pragmatic and hedonic of this application show a positive result. This study provides information to lecturers and universities to take advantage of this app in teaching English from basic utilizing technology support.
