Abstract

ABSTRACT Salmin Ahmad NIM 15010106048. EFL Students’ Reflection on Media Use in English Class. Supervised by: Dr. Sitti Nurfaidah, M. Ed. and Suhartini Syukri, S. Pd. I., S. Pd., M. Pd. This qualitative studyaims to investigate the using of media in English class based on the students’ reflection at SMK Negeri 1 Kendari class XI Akuntansi A5. Three kinds of instruments that the researcher used were observation sheet, journal reflection, and documentation sheet gathered from 34 students. The result of the study reveals that the students’ responded positively to the use of teaching medias in the English class. The students also find out the use of teaching media in the English class as gave benefits to them. One of the benefits of media is it can help improve students understanding of the material delivered by the English teacher in the. The use of teaching media in the classroom still has a weakness that is not using technology media were infocus and notebook. The advantages and suggested of learning media become one of the important of teaching media. This study implies that, the use of media in the English class should be encouraged in order to improve the students’ motivation in learning English and the students can understanding the material to easily when the teacher explain the material in classroom.
