Abstract

ABSTRAK Syamsuddin, NIM. 15040201004, judul: Strategi Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan Di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman Desa Boeara Kecamatan Poleang Kabupaten Bombana. (Dibimbing Oleh: Dr. H. Nur Alim, M.Pd dan Dr. Alauddin Madjid, M.Pd) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman; 2) Implementasi Strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman; 3) evaluasi Strategi kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman Desa Boeara Kecamatan Poleang Kabupaten Bombana. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan memakai perspektif fenomenologis yang dilaksanakan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Poleang Kabupaten Bombana. Dalam penelitian ini manusia sebagai sumber data utama dan hasil penelitiannya berupa kata-kata atau pernyataan yang sesuai dengan keadaan sebenarnya (alamiah) yang dilakukan baik pada Kepala Sekolah maupun tenaga Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan serta siswa untuk mengakuratiskan data yang diambil. Adapun sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah dari informan terutama Kepala Sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh; Kepala sekolah SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman melakukan kegiatan perencanaan bersama dengan semua stakeholder dan unsur pendidikan untuk menentukan langkah-langkah pada saat menyusun perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah. Perencanaan adalah langkah awal dalam proses manajemen strategi yang harus dilakukan kepala SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Pelaksanaan strategi adalah wujud nyata dari program yang sudah direncanakan atau dirumuskan, yang diimplementasi melalui Pembentukan atau Perbaikan Struktur Organisasi, Peningkatan Kompetensi Tenaga Pendidik dan Kependidikan, peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa, dan Harmonisasi Hubungan dengan Masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman. Dibutuhkan evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah agar pengendalian mutu pendidikan dapat dilakukan sebagaimana mestinya, evaluasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui monitoring hasil dari perencanaan dan pelaksanaan manajemen strategi, mengukur kinerja individu dan sekolah, dan melakukan langkah-langkah perbaikan dimana terdapat kelemahan dan kekurangan pada perencanaan dan strategi implementasi yang dilakukan sehingga belum optimalnya mutu pendidikan di SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman. Dampak positif dari strategi kepala sekolah dapat menciptakan prestasi bidang olah raga baik tingkat kecamatan maupun tingkat kabupaten, pertandingan umum maupun pertandingan melalui jalur Olimpiade Olahraga Siswa Nasional (O2SN) atau Festival Lomba Seni Siswa Nasional (FLS2N) dan olimpiade pada beberapa mata pelajaran. The approach used in this research was a qualitative approach with their perspective fenomenologis held in junior high SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman who are located in subdistrict poleang district bombana.In this research man as primary data sources and the results of research in the form of words or statement in accordance with the actual state of things ( natural ) is done good with school principals and teachers and teaching staff and students for the data were drawn. accurate The primary data sources in this research is from informants especially the school principals were. Data collection techniques, done by means of observation interviews and. Documentation Engineering data analysis done by steps, presentation of data the reduction of data and the conclusions (perifikasi). The result of this research obtained the school principal SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman Do the planning activities along with all stakeholders and some element of education to determine steps at the time of deciding the school principal strategy. Planning is the first step in the process of strategic management to be done the school principal SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman In order to improve the quality of education ..It is the reality of the program have been planned or formulated, Through the establishment of a diimplementasi, organizational structure or repairs the competence of teachers and education, an increase in this amount, and harmony relation with society in order to improve the quality of education in SMP Islam Nusantara Beriman.
