Abstract

ABSTRACT Sri Munianti/ 16010106022. English foreign Language students’ difficulties on project based learning. Suhartini Syukri, S.Pd.I., S.Pd., M.Pd. The purpose of this research was to investigate English foreign language students’ difficulties on project based learning. It is exploring students’ facing difficulties on Project-based learning used in their English class. The method applied was a descriptive qualitative, where the students reflection were used as instrument involving 15 participants. The collected data from students’ reflection than was highlighted, collated, and analyzed through coding and categorization. The results of the research show that students have some different difficulties that they facing on Project based learning including students difficulties in translation both in English into Indonesia or vice versa, students lack of ideas, students lack resource, students less knowledge, students lack motivation, students not accustomed using technology, students difficulty understanding instructions, students lack facilitate, students difficulty creating the project, students difficulty find syntax error, students rarely writing and group working such as not compact. Although, in this research found that in group working have difficulties in this research also found that group working have some benefits such as students can exchange the ideas, can devide the task, can complete task quickly, completmen each other, and more beter understanding material.
