Abstract

ABSTRAK Jumriana. NIM. 17010110026. Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Matematika Ditinjau dari Kecemasan Matematika Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Poli-polia. Dibimbing Oleh : Sri Anandari Safaria S.Pd.,M.Pd. Kesulitan dalam pembelajaran matematika salah satunya adalah kecemasan siswa terhadap matematika. Kecemasan yang dialami siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika sering disebut sebagai kecemasan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar matematika ditinjau dari kecemasan matematika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Poli-polia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar matematika berdasarkan kecemasan matematika tinggi pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Poli-polia yaitu siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi dan juga mengalami kesulitan menganalisis soal. Siswa juga mengalami kesulitan bertanya kepada guru jika ada materi yang belum dipahami dan juga mengalami kesulitan mencoba menjawab soal latihan di depan yang diberikan guru. Kesulitan belajar matematika berdasarkan kecemasan matematika sedang pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Poli-polia yaitu siswa terkadang mengalami kesulitan memahami materi, siswa sering mengalami kesulitan menganalisis soal, siswa terkadang sulit bertanya kepada guru jika ada materi yang belum dipahami, dan siswa terkadang sulit mencoba menjawab soal latihan di depan yang diberikan guru. Kesulitan belajar matematika berdasarkan kecemasan matematika rendah pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Poli-polia yaitu siswa jarang mengalami kesulitan memahami materi, siswa terkadang mengalami kesulitan menganalisis soal, siswa memiliki minat belajar matematika yang tinggi, siswa memiliki motivasi belajar, dan siswa merasa sangat senang saat pembelajaran matematika berlangsung. One of the difficulties in learning mathematics is the students’ anxiety about mathematics. The anxiety experienced by students in learning mathematics is often referred to as mathematics anxiety. This study aims to analyze the level of mathematics anxiety and learning difficulties in mathematics in terms of mathematics anxiety of high school students 1 Poli-polia. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a deskriptive type. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that learning difficulties in mathematics based on high mathematics anxiety in high school students 1 Poli�polia are students have difficulty understanding the material and have difficulty analysis questions. Students also have difficulty asking the teacher if there is material that has not been understood and also have difficulty trying to answer the practice questions in front of the teacher. Learning difficulties in mathematics based on medium mathematics anxiety in high school students 1 Poli-polia are students sometimes have difficuty understanding the material, students often have difficulty analysis questions, students sometimes find it difficulty asking the teacher if there is material that has not been understood, and students sometimes have difficulty trying to answer the practice questions in front of the teacher. Learning difficulties in mathematics based on low mathematics anxiety in high school students 1 Poli-polia are students reraly have difficuty understanding the material, students sometimes have difficulty analysis questions, students have high interest in learning mathematics, students have motivation to learn, and students feel very happy when learning math is going on.
