Abstract

ABSTRAK Sindi Sabrianti, NIM: 17010107029. Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi Terhadap Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah (Dibimbing Oleh: Bapak Hasrin Lamote, S.Pd., M.Sc) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi terhadap keaktifan belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 ButonTengah, (2) pengaruh model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yaitu sebanyak 127 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak dua kelas dengan jumlah siswa 50 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, kuesioner (angket), dokumentasi dan instrumen tes. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (QUASI Experiment Design). Uji validitas menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment, dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus K-R21. Hasil penelitian pada taraf signifikan 5% menunjukan bahwa: (1) Hasil uji-tpost-test keaktifan belajar t diperoleh nilai thitung 2,84 dan ttabel 1,677. Nilai thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima,artinya terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah. (2) Hasil uji-t post-test hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai thitung 6,11 dan ttabel 1,677. Nilai thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian ini model Problem Based Learning melalui Demonstrasi dan Diskusi memiliki pengaruh terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa. The Influence of Problem Based Learning Models through Demonstration and Discussion on Activity and Learning Outcomes of Natural Science Students of Class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah (Supervised by: Mr. Hasrin Lamote, S.Pd., M.Sc) This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of the Problem Based Learning model through demonstration and discussion on the science learning activities of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah, (2) The effect of the Problem Based Learning model through demonstration and discussion on the science learning outcomes of class VIII junior high school students Country 4 Central Buton. The population in this study were all students of class VIII as many as 127 people. The sample used in this study were two classes with 50 students. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire (questionnaire), documentation and test instruments. The research approach used is quantitative with the type of experimental research (QUASI Experiment Design). The validity test uses the product moment correlation formula, and the reliability test uses the K-R21 formula. The results of the study at a significant level of 5% showed that: (1) The results of the t-test-post-test learning activity t obtained the t-count value of 2.84 and t-table 1.677. The value of tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning model through Demonstration and Discussion on the learning activities of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah.
