Abstract

Abstract: Religious routines was technique to raise environmental awareness. Therefore, this case study in Lanngikima, Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi is breakthrough to prevent environmental discretion at large. Illegal logging activities in Langgikima District have an impact on forest degradation and ecosystem quality ruin resulting in hydrology that is the occurrence of floods in the rainy season. In addition, the reduction of fertile soil layers due to the undercurrent due to illegal logging practices in this area. This article demonstrates that the transformation of the da’i approach of the environment into people’s lives on the basis of religious spirituality through religious education and Friday speech activities. The activities rely as an ethical basis for forest conservation and saving. This approach is positively responded by the community and this activity spearheads the conservation movement of nature and the environment. These activities also build the collective consciousness of the community in Langgikima and extend to be a frame of sustainable forest utilization and management. Finally, law enforcement was not the only one to enhance the community life. On the other hand, the religious activities were integrated in to environmental discourse is one option to accelerate opportunities in the society.
