ANALISIS FAKTOR – FAKTOR PENYEBAB RENDAHNYA MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMP NEGERI I KABAWO KABUPATEN MUNA ABSTRACT La Baru (16040202051) Analysis of Factors Causing the Low Motivation of Student Learning in Islamic Education Subjects in Kabawo 1 Middle School in Muna Regency. Dr. Hj. Nurseha Gazali, M.Sc as Advisor I and Dr. H. Pairin, MA as Advisor II This thesis discusses students' learning motivation in the subjects of Islamic Education in the learning process of students in Kabawo I Middle School in Muna Regency. The low motivation in the school of Kab. Kabuo I Middle School caused the learning achievement in the subjects of Islamic religious education to be less than maximal. It can be seen from the average score of daily repetition of Islamic religious education lessons whose value is still below the minimum completeness standard. Students feel saturated with existing learning so that there is no motivation to learn and result in not achieving. The purpose of this study was to (1) find out and describe the objective conditions that led to low learning motivation of Muna Kabawo State Middle School I students, and to (2) find out what factors caused low learning motivation of students in PAI subjects in the Public Middle School I Kabawo, Muna Regency. (3) Efforts made by teachers to improve student achievement in Islamic FINAL religious education subjects. This research is a qualitative descriptive field research. The approach of this research is the theological, pedagogical, psychological, and managerial approaches. The data sources in this study are two, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The research instrument uses an observation guide, interview guide and documentation check list. Methods of collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. The processing and data analysis techniques go through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation (data display ), and conclusion (data verification). The implication of this study is that various forms of student motivation learning process development programs that have been carried out by Islamic Education teachers need to be developed with concrete programs related to methods, material and evaluation.
