Abstract

ABSTRAK Ani Anggraeni. 17010101098. Efektivitas Pelaksanaan Model Discovery LearningDalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa SMPN 9 Kendari. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Muh. Shaleh M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 9 Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tekhnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa(1) Model Discovery Learningmerupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang evektif digunakan untuk mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam proses belajar mengajar. Keefektivan model ini dapat dilihat dari kesesuaian model discovery learning terhadap beberapa aspek yang menunjang keberhasilan dalam proses belajar mengajar yaitu materi ajar, media pembelajaran, kesiapan belajar peserta didik sebelum pembelajaran, dan ketepatan waktu peserta didik dalam mengerjakan atau mengumpulkan tugas. (2) Setelah diterapkan model Discovery Learning dapat dilihat bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik sangat besar. Hal ini ditandai dengan perbedaan nilai yang diperoleh peserta didik sebelum diterapkannya model discovery learning dan setelah diterapkannya model discovery learning. Sebelum diterapkannya model discovery learning, dari 33 peserta didikterdapat 12,12% peserta didik yang nilainya tidak mencapai KKM dan setelah diterapkannya model discovery learning nilai dari peseta didik meningkat 96% (3)Kendala yang dihadapi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menerapkan model discovery learningumumnya datang dari peserta didikyang memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda sehingga terdapat peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan saat pembelajarandan pengorganisasian waktu dalam proses pembelajaran yang kurang tepat, dikarenakan model ini membutuhkan waktu yang cukup panjang dalam pelaksanaan sehingga dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif. The Effectiveness of the Implementation of the Discovery Learning Model in Improving Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education for Students at SMPN 9 Kendari. Supervised by Dr. Muh. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the discovery learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMPN 9 Kendari. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed using the Milles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) Model Discovery Learning is an effective learning model used to activate students in the teaching and learning process. The effectiveness of this model can be seen from the suitability of the discovery learning model on several aspects that support the success of the teaching and learning process, namely teaching materials, learning media, students' readiness to learn before learning, and the timeliness of students in doing or collecting assignments. (2) After applying the Discovery Learning model it can be seen that the increase in the study of students is very large. This is marked by the difference in values obtained by students before the application of the discovery learning model and after the application of the discovery learning model. Before the application of the discovery learning model , out of 33 students there were 12.12% of students whose scores did not reach the KKM and after the application of the discovery learning model the value of students increased by 96% (3) Constraints faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in applying the discovery learning model Generally it comes from students who have different abilities so that there are students who have difficulty when learning and organizing time in the learning process is not quite right, because this model requires a long time in implementation so that it can make learning less effective.
