Abstract
ABSTRAK Risnayanti, NIM: 17010107007. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa di SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah (Dibimbing oleh: Zul Arham S.Si., M.Si) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengahpada mata pelajaran IPA. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah yang terdiri atas 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa yaitu 100 orang.Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak dua kelas dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan instrumen tes.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu.(Quasi Experiment Design).Uji validitas menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment, dan uji reabilitas menggunakan rumus K-R21. Hasil penelian pada taraf sifnifikasi 5% menunjukan bahwa: Hasil uji-t post-test pemahaman konsep t diperoleh nilai thitung 4,306 dan ttabel 1,68. Nilai thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah, sedangkan hasil uji-t post-test keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh nilai thitung 6,65 dan ttabel 1,68. Nilai thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian ini model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Concept Understanding and Critical Thinking Skills of Students at SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah (Supervised by: Mr. Zul Arham S.Si., M.Si) This study aims to determination: The effect of the Problem Based Learning model on understanding concepts and critical thinking skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah in science subjects. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah which consisted of 4 classes with a total of 100 students. The sample used in this study were two classes with a total of 40 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation, and test instruments. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of research. The validity test uses the product moment correlation formula, and the reliability test uses the K-R21 formula. The results of the study at the 5% significance level show that: The results of the post-test t-test for understanding the concept of t obtained tcount values of 4.306 and tables of 1.68. The value of tcount> ttable, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning model on understanding the concepts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah, while the results of the post-test t-test of students' critical thinking skills obtained tcount value of 6.65 and ttable 1.68. The value of tcount> ttable then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of the problem Based Learning Model on the critical thinking skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah. So, it can be concluded that in this study the Problem Based Learning model has an influence on understanding concepts and students' critical thinking skills.
