Abstract

ABSTRAK Samsinar. NIM 18010110021. Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan RME Terintegrasi Nilai-nilai Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Kelas VII di MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu. Dibimbing oleh: Imaludin Agus, M. Pd dan Sri Anandari Safaria, S. Pd, M. Pd Pendekatan yang dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME terintegrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang di mana juga sebagai upaya dalam melestarikan kearifan lokal yang ada di Indonesia. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII di MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu sebelum dan setelah diajar dengan pendekatan RME terintegrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. 2) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII di MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu sebelum dan setelah diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional. 3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan RME terintegrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan pendekatan konvensional terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII di MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang dilihat dari aspek menulis, menggambar dan ekspresi matematika, serta lembar observasi guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME terintegrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagian besar berada pada tingkat sedang dengan persentase sebesar 60%. 2) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional sebagian besar berada pada tingkat rendah dengan persentase sebesar 16,7%. 3) Penerapan pendekatan RME terintegrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal berpengaruh lebih baik daripada pendekatan konvensional terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Pd One approach that can help students improve their mathematical communication skills is to use an integrated RME approach with local wisdom values which is also an effort to preserve local wisdom in Indonesia. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu before and after being taught with an integrated RME approach with local wisdom values. 2) To determine the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu before and after being taught using a conventional approach. 3) To determine the effect of the application of the integrated RME approach with local wisdom values and conventional approaches on the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at MTs Darul Ulum Ahuhu. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Class VII B as the experimental class and VII C as the control class. The data collection method consisted of a test of mathematical communication skills seen from the aspects of writing, drawing and mathematical expression, as well as the teacher's observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The mathematical communication skills of students who are taught using the integrated RME approach the values of local wisdom are mostly at a moderate level with a percentage of 60%. 2) The mathematical communication skills of students who are taught using conventional approaches are mostly at a low level with a percentage of 16.7%. 3) The application of an integrated RME approach to local wisdom values has a better effect than the conventional approach on students' mathematical communication skills.
