Abstract

ABSTRACT Ayu Nurlianti NIM 15010106009. Benefit of Multiple Drafting Towards Students’ L2 Writing Process. Supervised by: Dr. Sitti Nurfaidah, M.Ed. This thesis discusses the Benefits of Multiple Drafting Toward Students' L2 Writing Process. With research questions does required revision through multiple drafts of an essay improve the overall quality of written work in a classroom situation at SMA Negeri 1 Kendari?This research is a qualitative study by taking a location in SMA Negeri 1 Kendari. Data collection techniques used are drafting and students' reflection onsystematic the problems that occur.Based on the results of the study found that multiple drafting has many benefits in students' writing process. Multiple drafting improve students writing, in general multiple drafting is useful and make their writing develop even better.students answered agreeing that the drafting process can increase their ability to learn English. They also added that it made those who initially did not know to know, at their age their abilities in English are still lacking and giving multiple drafting will add to their knowledge and expand their ability.
