Abstract

ABSTRACT Anin Irmayanti SID 17010106002. ”EFLLearners’Experience of Learning Listening during COVID-19”. Supervisors: Dr. Sitti Nurfaidah, S.Pd., M.Ed. and Suhartini Syukri,S.Pd.I., S.Pd., M.Pd. The purpose of this research is to find out the EFL learners’ experience of learning listeningduring COVID-19. This study used a qualitative designcase study. The participants of this study consisted of nine students who were recruited based on their activeness in talking during online listening class. The data were obtained from student reflection. The findings of this study revealed that the listening learning experience has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that students can develop their creativity by ustilizing their own learning media, for instance video, audio and YouTube. Therefore, it is useful for students’ learning needs. Meanwhile, the negative impact is the difficulty in learning listening online because of unstable network. Indirectly,this can be a place for them to develop listening skills through the experience.
