Abstract

ABSTRAK FALDI KURNIAWAN, NIM: 18010109024. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) Berbasis Media Video Terhadap Hasil Belajar Materi Suhu dan Kalor Pada Peserta Didik Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton Tengah (Dibimbing oleh: Dr. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd dan Zainuddin, S.Pd, M.Pd ) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model Means Ends Analysis (MEA) berbasis media video dan model konvensional di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model Means Ends Analysis (MEA) berbasis media video dan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. (3) mengetahui respon peserta didik yang menggunakan model Means Ends Analysis (MEA) berbasis media video di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Control Group Posttest Design pada desain ini hanya terdapat posttest untuk kelompok kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya, sampel ditetapkan dengan teknik teknik purposive sampling, yaitu memilih dua kelas dengan nilai hasil belajar terdahulu yang hampir sama, dengan pengelompokan kemampuan tinggi awal dan kemampuan tinggi kedua didasari oleh nilai pengetahuan yang diperoleh sebelumnya, kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Uji persyaratan analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis, untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model MEA berbasis media video berkategori tinggi dalam persentase 56% dengan ratarata sebesar 87,19 dan model konvensional berkategori tinggi dalam persentase 31% dengan rata-rata sebesar 79,28. (2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model MEA berbasis media video dan model konvensional, 3,09 1,99 hitung tabel t t =  . (3) Hasil skor respon angket peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen mayoritas berkategori tinggi yaitu 75% dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 104,47. Dengan demikian hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diberikan model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) berbasis media video terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada materi suhu dan kalor. The Effect of Video MediaBased Means Ends Analysis (MEA) Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of Temperature and Heat Materials in Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya, Central Buton Regency (Supervised by: Dr. Abdul Kadir, M. Pd and Zainuddin, S.Pd, M.Pd) This study aims to (1) determine the learning outcomes of students using the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) model based on video and conventional models in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. (2) knowing the differences in student learning outcomes using the video media-based Means Ends Analysis (MEA) model and conventional learning models in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. (3) knowing the responses of students using the video-based Means Ends Analysis (MEA) model in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. This research was carried out through an experimental method with a Control Group Posttest Design research design in this design there was only a posttest for the experimental and control groups. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya, the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, namely choosing two classes with almost the same value of previous learning outcomes, with the initial high ability grouping and the second high ability based on the knowledge obtained previously, class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 1 as the control class. Test requirements analysis includes normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing, to determine the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. The results showed that: (1) The learning outcomes of students who used the video media-based MEA model were in the high category in the percentage of 56% with an average of 87.19 and the conventional model was in the high category in the percentage of 31% with an average of 79.28 . (2) There are differences in student learning outcomes using the video media-based MEA model and the conventional model 3,09 1,99 count table t t =  . (3) The results of the questionnaire response scores of students in the experimental class were in the high category, namely 75% with an average value of 104.47. Thus, the physics learning outcomes of students who are given a video-based Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model have a significant effect on temperature and heat material.
